Juicing has been a part of my life on and off for at least a couple of decades, but I was always so overwhelmed by the size of the old-school home juicers that I simply never wanted one in my kitchen. Cleaning them seemed daunting as well. (Until I found the best juicer–and if you’re in the market for one, make sure to use my code “crumbles” at checkout for a discount.) After beginning intermittent fasting last July, I found that the best way to break my fast was with fresh green juice…made in my own kitchen! The combination of fasting and juicing has really helped me reboot my health and feel my best!

From Fatigue to Fabulous: How Green Juice and Intermittent Fasting Changed My Life

My green juice recipe has evolved, and I suspect it will continue to evolve, but so many followers have been asking about it that I wanted to share. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my energy levels and overall health. I break my fast after about 17 hours each day with a glass of this delicious green juice.

What I Love About My Nama Juicer and a Discount Code for Crumbles!

I was so crazy about my Nama J1 juicer that I reached out to tell them! The cold-press Nama J1 juicer is sleek, ridiculously fast, and it extracts higher volumes of juice than other juicers. I can enthusiastically say that juicing fills me with vitality. There are so many reasons why I love my Nama J1 juicer! It leaves a small footprint, cleans up easily, and most importantly, it makes exquisite-tasting juice.

Nama also has a second model, the J2 juicer and I was lucky enough to also test out this unit! It has some great features that make it really convenient to use. Like with most juicers, you feed ingredients one at a time; but with the J2, you load once and walk away. It’s fabulous and such a time-saver!

I was previously overwhelmed by the size of the old-school home juicers, so I simply never wanted one in my kitchen. Cleaning them seemed daunting as well. But both models of the cold-press Nama juicers are sleek, fast, and they extract higher volumes of juice than other juicers I’ve tried. While I am certainly not making medical claims, I can enthusiastically say that juicing fills me with vitality.

J2 Juicer with the Large Hopper attachment
Loading the hopper — leafy greens go first!

These days, I keep my J1 juicer at my cabin where I have less counter space and typically am just juicing for myself on the weekends. I use my J2 juicer during the week in Chicago, because it fits my weekday lifestyle. Nama recently released a bigger hopper attachment (which is only available for the J2) that has been a multitasking timesaver, so I can now load the juicer to make a double or triple juice and let it go on its own. There’s also a citrus attachment, which is ideal for every day cooking or making cocktails, as well as a new, bigger pitcher with a built-in strainer that is brilliant. I’m loving it!

Here are all of my entire Nama J2 Juicer pieces!

If your space is limited or you are just getting into juicing, perhaps the J1 is a better model for you. It is smaller and has a lower entry price point. But if you’re ready to delve into a juicing lifestyle or envision making bigger batches of juice, I highly recommend the J2.

Be sure to use my link and the code “crumbles” for your 10% discount on any of the pieces. I am proud to be an affiliate!
