I am so excited about this brand new Creamy Pear Sauce. It could not be easier to make, and it tastes delicious on pretty much everything. I cannot get enough of it! I could probably eat an entire jar. It’s the perfect sauce to make for meal prep and enjoy all week! And did I mention the sauce is Whole30? It really couldn’t get any better!

What I love about pears

Pears are such a lovely treat for the fall. They are so sweet and offer such versatility in cooking. They are great for sauces, salads, desserts, and so much more. One of my favorite recipes is Poached Pears from the cookbook. These were Lucy’s favorite growing up, and they always requested them for their birthday.

For this pear sauce, you want to use very ripe pears. That will ensure that you get the beautiful flavor in your sauce! If your pears are getting too soft to eat alone, this sauce is a great way to use them up.

How to make a Creamy Pear Sauce

This sauce truly couldn’t get any easier to whip up. Start by chopping your pears into chunks. This will help make sure it blends in smoothly to the sauce. Then, in a blender, combine the pears, Whole30 Mayo, and lemon juice. Blend and then enjoy on everything! Or, go ahead and take a bite by itself because it is really that delicious.

Description

This Creamy Pear Sauce couldn’t be easier to make and it is delicious on everything!


Ingredients

2 super ripe pears, cut into pieces  

1 cup whole30 mayonnaise or regular mayonnaise

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice


Instructions

In a blender, combine the Whole30 mayo, ripe pears and lemon juice. Blend until smooth, for about 1 minute. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy.
