I’m pretty delighted to share about one of my new favorite knives: the Made In Bread Knife! Something you may not know about me is that I am sort of a master sandwich maker. I have love to make sandwiches since I was a little girl. A sandwich is a mini-masterpiece, and it’s up to you to curate with the very best ingredients, beautiful greens, and fabulous bread.

I much prefer to slice my own bread because I love a nice think slice for my sandwiches. If you can get to a local bakery and find a fantastic loaf, there is nothing better. I’m not much of a baker, but it’s a wonderful opportunity to bake your own bread too. In order to create such beautiful slices for your sandwich, it is crucial to have a sharp and sturdy bread knife.

The Made In Bread Knife, which by the way, the renowned Chef Nancy Silverton helped create, is the perfect tool for a fantastic sandwich. It has wide serrations on the blade which carve perfectly into the bread, no matter how thick the crust may be. I also totally love the size of it. At nine inches, it can cut through any size loaf, but it also doesn’t feel too big in your hands.

You may have already noticed this knife showing up in a lot of my other recipe videos, like the Crunchy Grilled Cheese with Sweet and Savory Caramelized Onions, Reuben Sandwich, or the Croque Monsieur that was featured in Friday Favorites. I’m not kidding when I say it’s become my go-to bread knife!
