Some of you may know that I am not the biggest coffee drinker, but when it comes to an Espresso Martini, I’m all in. I didn’t realize quite how easy it was to make until we began making them! They are perfect for the holidays, and they are a fabulous after dinner cocktail. It feels so fancy, especially when served in beautiful coupe glasses.

How to Make an Espresso Martini

An espresso martini of course starts with espresso. We pulled our own, but you can use store-bought or instant espresso to keep it simple. Once you have the espresso, you combine your espresso, coffee liqueur, and vodka into a shaker or mason jar. Make sure to do this before adding ice, because you don’t want it to melt from the espresso.

Once you have all the ingredients in your shaker, top with ice. You will need a good bit of ice to make sure it gets nice and cold. Put the lid on your shaker, and shake vigorously. The harder you shake the better the foam will be on top!

How to Serve Your Espresso Martini

Next, you are just about ready to serve. Strain the drink into your glassware. I think good glassware is paramount for a lovely cocktail. It can make such a difference, and I love going all out. This Espresso Martini is perfect for Made In Coupe Glasses.

So many couple glasses can be too delicate or hard to drink out of. Made In has created this perfect tapered lip that makes them easy to sip from, and the stems are reinforced so that you don’t have to constantly worry about breaking them. Not to mention they are truly stunning. From champagne to an espresso martini, they are a fabulous piece of glassware to have on hand.

The final step for your espresso martini is garnishing. I love to garnish with three coffee beans in a triangle to represent health, love, and happiness.
