Teri’s Easter Menu: Festive Recipes for Your Spring Feast

Easter is the perfect time to gather with your nearest and dearest, welcome the sunshine of spring, and indulge in the most scrumptious dishes that showcase the season’s freshest and most delightful flavors. Whether you’re planning a dazzling brunch, a fabulous dinner party, or simply offered to bring a delicious dessert, my Easter menu has your back.

I love celebrating spring! When I was growing up, Easter meant pretty dresses, Easter egg hunts, and family gatherings. My mom made our holidays so much fun, and she did the same for her grandchildren. It was fun to watch the cousins look for hidden eggs together! Even just the idea of an extended family gathering to enjoy a meal and catch up with each other gave everyone a sense of excitement.

Now that the kids are grown up, I focus on the joy of a lovely baked ham, fantastic spring produce, and setting a beautiful Easter table. As we usher in the new season, spring feels like a time for new beginnings, and I’m always happy to celebrate renewal and feel a sense of hope, while remembering past holidays fondly and sending love to my friends and family near and far.

Easter Tablescapes: Transform Your Feast with Fabulous Seasonal Settings.

In addition to cooking delicious food, I’ve long loved putting together table settings. Just as using cloth napkins makes food taste better, setting a beautiful table makes life better! On my first date with Roy, I said, “I set a beautiful table,” and I suspect that sealed the deal!

I like to create layers of beauty and use my favorite and dearest items to celebrate a holiday. It’s a time to get creative! There’s no need to spend a lot of money. If you can’t find fresh flowers, cut some fresh greens and see where your imagination takes you. Allow yourself to let go, be whimsical, and have fun, knowing that you’re creating memories you’ll enjoy in the future.
