When it’s too hot to cook, what do you love to eat? I love a no-cook easy dinner pulled together at the last minute. CHARCUTERIE. There are an infinite number of possibilities. I chose some lovely cheeses I had in the fridge, grilled some figs and added a balsamic reduction. Melon and Parma ham is so perfect in August and that’s why I keep some on hand: it’s great at a moment’s notice. A quick tomato salad, slices of avocado and some French potato salad from earlier in the week–an inspired yet spontaneous combination when your energy is low and the heat is high. Add a loaf of wonderful crusty bread if desired and voila! Dinner!
